Fulcrum Care are 5

Over the course of the pandemic, Fulcrum Care led the way in finding solutions to the unique challenges the care sector faced. Their business developed through realising new ways to relieve the burden on NHS facilities, helping impacted care homes avoid closure to protect their residents and introducing lifesaving Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) systems into a number of care facilities before the CQC has created its framework.

Since 2021, Fulcrum have increased their ability to support social care homes, including:

  • Over 150 care homes helped to meet compliance targets and ratings improvements
  • Over 112 care home providers helped to achieve increased care standards and commercials
  • 18 professional care consultants employed
  • Over 16 care homes saved from the risk of urgent closure
  • Over 10 care management teams trained in how to use modern Quality Management Systems.

Fulcrum Care’s CEO, Tony Thiru, thanks the care sector’s resilience for their ability to continue providing expert consultancy: “We’re incredibly proud to be able to celebrate five years of care home consultancy.

“I’d like to thank the dedication and commitment of our team — as well as the resilience of the care sector as a whole — for helping us to continue providing expert care support where it’s needed most.

“During the coronavirus pandemic, it was vital that everyone increased their efforts to protect the health and care sectors across the UK. This often required creative and cost-effective ways to adapt to complex challenges. I’m pleased to say that we were able to give the strength and support that our care home clients needed during that time – and we will continue to develop new ways to help care home providers, owners and managers recover and improve their ratings and the quality of care they are able to offer residents.”
