We had a blast on Friday evening doing the #glowwalk
The glow walk is set up to raise money for Alzheimer's U.K. and to support those struggling with this awful affliction. 850,000 people live with Dementia in the UK and that number is set to rise to 1m by 2025. '
I really got to understand the scale of the impact it is having on Friday - from people walking to support loved ones, and those walking to remember them.
From the encouraging event volunteers to the small children covered in glow sticks, to the Zimmer frames decorated in twinkly lights - the sky was lit up in a wash of colour. We talked, we walked, we laughed and we cried.
