Mini Budget Summary
With inflation at its current levels and following yesterday’s rise in bank base rate Kwasi Kwarteng has been treading a fine line between helping businesses ride out the current economic headwinds and enabling the economy to grow, without adding to the inflationary burden which may trigger further interest rate rises given the commentary of the Bank of England’s monetary policy committee.
