The social care sector is starting to see pay increases above the National Living Wage (NLW) in addition to reward, wellbeing and performance programmes, as we approach the onset of the 1.25% National Insurance Levy from 6 April 2022.
As a result of the pandemic the demand for online training and virtual platforms has continued, with no abatement, and looks set to continue to be a flexible training option in addition to ‘on the job’ supervisions for new and developing front line and auxiliary staff.
Leaders in care provision continue to seek out new and innovative ways to enhance the careers of their professional teams, which in turn assists staff recruitment and retention.
